Hello beautiful people!
We are a group of like-minded friends, new here on the island, who are passionate about offering our children and other young humans the opportunity to learn in a free and self-directed way. If you’re curious about what that means and this resonates with you, we’d be excited to meet you! Join us in one of the following ways:
1. Open afternoon (Saturday 11.11.)
Bring some food to share for dinner and meet us at Arambha Ecovillage in the afternoon of the 11th (from 4:00 pm). We’re looking forward to hearing your story, sharing ours, and exchanging ideas about what education and learning mean to us.
2. Weekend Workshop (17.-19.11.)
During this 2 day taster you and your family can experience the flow of agile learning, which is a set of tools to organize community learning that we’re inspired by. The weekend starts Friday afternoon at 5:00 pm and ends on Sunday after lunch.
3. Full immersion camp (10.-19.11.)
Come and live the full experience with us, going through the process of building community, getting to know both the learning tools but also each individual in the community, their needs and interests and how to meet them.
Who is it for?
- Families that are looking for alternative, self-directed education for their children.
- Families and individuals sharing the intension to support a community with a learning project at its heart.
- Everyone willing to do things differently!

Why?
This will be an introductory gathering for families to get familiar with the self-directed approach in learning using the agile learning tools and an opportunity to explore community living. This gathering will be the kick starter for the Agile Learning Center (ALC) that is awakening and will be running this winter in Arambha.
How?
We will be starting and ending our days together in a circle, using the ALC boards where our time and space will be organised according to everyone’s needs and offerings (adults and children). This will create days where games, activities and free flow are mixed together so that we get to play, connect, relax and laugh.
Learning is happening all the time!
